Trade - In Program

We want to trade; simply put we will trade for anything of value. We understand that many times customers have assets that are valuable; they may not have the time or resources to turn these assets into cash. We can help.

  • Trading your existing home –

Many customers currently own homes. Faced with daunting task of selling their home and moving twice; they decide to trade their home to B&M Asset Group LLC.

Some of the commonly asked questions and our response;

Q) Our home is not paid for, does this matter?

A) No, we can trade for your home paid for or not.

Q) How does this all work, when do you buy ours?

A) This process is actually two separate transactions, we buy your home and you buy ours. We will typically close our purchase of the customer’s home a few days before the customer closes on the purchase of the new home. Thus, allowing the customer access to the equity in their current home as a source of down payment and in some cases access to funds to reduce debt if required for the purchase of the new home.

Q) How is the value of our home determined, are we talking less than market value, is there a penalty or large fee for doing this?

A) Depending on the location of the home being traded and the availability of comparable sales information, we may or may not order an appraisal. If we do, we pay for it. We strive to give you the maximum value for your home. As there are no commissions and we take care of all the closing costs associated with this transaction; most customers find that they will have more dollars “in their pocket “in comparison to having listed with a realtor.

Q) Does the customer pay a fee for this service?

A) None, there are no fee’s commissions or costs associated with this transaction that the customer pays.

Q) Is the price I am quoted for my home what I will end up with?

A) Absolutely, our offer is a “net” offer, meaning the only things deducted from it will be what you owe and any property taxes that are your responsibility.

Q) When do I move, will I have to move out and find temporary housing?

A) No; you can continue to live in your existing home up to closing of your new home, only moving one time; into your new house!

Q) Do you trade for homes in areas other than Amarillo?

A) Yes! This depends on the property and location but we look at all possibilities.

Q) Will you take more than one home on trade, or multiple rentals?

A) Yes again! We frequently trade for two or more properties.

Q) Is it better for me to put my home on the market and try to sell it first?

A) This is a personal choice that each customer must evaluate. Several factors need to be considered. If the customer is planning on marketing and selling the home without listing it with a realtor, this may save some expenses; but has its own problems. Selling a house is complicated. There are potential buyers (and strangers) coming and going and the home needs to be in good repair. Hiring a realtor to sell your home is expensive and may require that you move to temporary housing; expensive as well. But here is our open offer to you; if you are able to sell your home yourself; by whatever means; and it is better for you, we are happy to allow you to. Naturally this agreement is in writing.

Q) I am not ready to trade but may consider in the future, will this always be an option?

A) Maybe not, there are several reasons that this is practical for B&M Asset Group LLC at this time. As we all know the only thing certain is change.

  • Trading Automobiles, Boats, Trailers, RV’s, Campers, Motorcycles –

We trade for all of the above, paid for or not.

Q) How is the value determined if I trade a vehicle?

A) B&M Asset Group LLC, has many resources in obtaining “actual cash bids” for vehicles, we will obtain fair market offers and get you the best available value possible. It should also be noted that depending on your particular mortgage lender, these transactions must be well documented for purposes of obtaining a loan. And we recommend asking your lender in advance what their policy is.

Q) Is there an advantage to trading rather than selling something outright?

A) There can be a huge advantage depending on the circumstances, if you feel you are getting a good deal on your new home, being able to take advantage of today’s low rates and moderate pricing makes the decision to part with an unused vehicle simple.
